April Fitness Challenges
 
April is Challenge Month at The Training Center
 
Nobody Trains to NOT Finish the Challenge!!
 
Receive a Training Center Challenge T-shirt by signing up for 2 or more challenges.
Cost is $10 to participate in 1 challenge.
2 challenges for $20...(includes T-shirt)
3 or more challenges for $25...(includes T-shirt)
 
You must register by March 31st in order to receive a t-shirt.
Make your individual challenge selections up until April 1st.


 
 Lose a Bowling Ball... or two
This challenge is to lose weight.  Weekly weigh-ins.
Men 15-16 pounds.  Women 10-12 pounds. 
1,000 Push-Ups   OR
                                         2,000 Girl Push-Ups
This challenge is done at your own pace.  You
decide how you want to do them, but once
you get started there's no looking back!!

 
 
    Walk 26.2 miles   OR
                                                 Run 52.4 miles
Keep track of your mileage and make your goal
to run or walk 100 miles.

 
 
 Bike RAGBRAI in April
Use a bike where you can keep track of your mileage
and log your miles until you make it to 454.2
Complete the total mileage and put your name in
for the drawing for a RAGBRAI 2011 Long Sleeve
Route T-Shirt.  Double the mileage and put your
name in twice!! 

 

 
    3,000 Body Weight Squats
Your goal is to complete 3,000 squats using your
own body weight or a resist-a-ball on the wall. 

  
    Burn 35,000 calories
Track your calories for all of your activities and
see how long it would take to lose 10 pounds
(3,500=1 pound)

 
 
    Lift an Elephant!!
Log your weight lifting and you'll have an idea
what it would be like to lift an elephant...
26,000 pounds!  WHEW

 
 
   Row a Marathon...
Row, Row, Row your boat...
A marathon on the water is 42,195 meters.
Row it all in one day or a few meters at a time.
