(All of these classes are not offered all the time, but are offered at some time throughout the year.)
Schedules change monthly.
Awesome Ab Class:
This 30 minute class focuses on strengthening the core through the use of resistance tubing, resist-a-balls,
dumbbells, and various equipment. This class will include exercises to strengthen the back as well. This
class is for all levels of participants.
Body Sculpting:
This 40 minute class is designed to sculpt the body through the use of dumbbells, resistance tubing, and
curl bars with plates. We work all of the major muscle groups and finish each class with an abdominal
segment and stretching. This class can be modified for all levels of participants.
Boot Camp:
This early morning class lasts 45 minutes and is an excellent class for beginners as well as well conditioned
participants. Each participant has their individual station and weights. We do individual as well as group
work and change exercises every 60 seconds. This is a great class for participants of all fitness levels.
Main equipment used: steps, hand weights, and BOSU.
Cycling Class:
This 45 minute class will take you through simulated hills and climbs, flats, jumps and multiple combinations.
Participants are able to modify to their ability level and challenge themselves individually. Participants can
adjust their resistance level to determine the difficulty of their individual workout. Classes begin with
a 5-minute warm-up, a 35 minute workout and a 5-minute cool down.
Double Step:
This class uses 2 steps (risers optional) and takes a basic step routine and works back and forth between
both steps for the entire class. The choreography is not difficult and once participants get used to
travelling between steps, this is a high energy, exciting class. This class is very popular and challenging.
Drums Alive:
An upbeat class that uses resist-a-balls, drumsticks and risers. The balls become drums and you will be
surprised at how much fun it is to beat the drums and move around the ball to keep your heart rate up.
This is a low impact class and is great for kids as well as adults. This class is a great stress reliever!
Pilates:
Pilates exercises are used to lengthen and strengthen the muscles. Most of this class is done on the mat.
Hand weights and resist-a-balls are also used to challenge participants to new fitness levels. This is a demanding
workout that will strengthen your core.
Physical Transformation:
Physical Transformation is a great class for seeing changes in your body. Heavy weights are used to build
muscle, which in turn burns more calories. This class uses heavy weights, short repetitions, and multiple sets to
sculpt and shape the body. Major muscle groups are worked in multiple ways to focus on muscle development.
Step Aerobics:
Step aerobics uses a single step and risers (optional) to challenge you. Routines are developed throughout the
class and participants are given the opportunity to learn new steps as well as familiar steps. This is a great class
for the participant who loves to move to the music and is willing to continually be challenged using multiple
directions. Participants are given options for less demanding moves so the workout is easy to modify to
individual ability levels.
